Job summary

Clean Harbors in Compton, CA seeks a Class A CDL Driver to operate heavy and light trucks at customer sites for hazardous waste cleanup. The role includes loading/unloading, regulatory compliance, and site support on and off customer premises.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Must obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use mobile devices for reporting and communication.
• Must pass background check, drug test and physical where applicable.
• Comply with OSHA respirator standards regarding facial hair.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of Class A trucks at customer sites.
• Perform driving and non-driving duties on and off sites for hazardous waste cleanup.
• Load and unload trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets and reports.
• Ensure placarding and DOT compliance for all vehicles.
• Be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
