Job summary

Clean Harbors in Seymour, CT is seeking a Class A CDL Driver (Hazmat) to operate a range of heavy and light trucks at customer sites. Duties include driving, loading/unloading, and site-based manual labor to support hazardous waste cleanup.

The role requires Hazmat/Tanker endorsements and a valid Class A CDL. On-call emergency response is required on a rotating schedule; a paid two-week out-of-state academy training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• Must be able to operate manual transmission.
• Background check, drug test and physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of Class A trucks at customer sites and remote locations.
• Load and unload trucks; perform related manual labor as needed.
• Maintain logs, time sheets and reports in compliance with DOT and company policies.
• Participate in on-call emergency response on rotating schedule.
