Job summary

Clean Harbors in Baltimore, MD seeks a Class B CDL Driver / Hazmat / Tanker to operate light and heavy-duty trucks at customer sites for hazardous waste cleanup. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, on-site work, and ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, manual transmission operation, and ability to work across multiple vehicle types. A two-week training academy is provided, with travel paid by the company.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Background check, drug test and fitness assessment may be required by position.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Handle hazardous materials safely and follow site-specific procedures.
