Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver / Equipment Operator / Hazmat / Tanker to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites.

You will perform driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste cleanup, with on-site responsibilities and the potential for emergency response work. The role includes a two-week paid Academy training (out-of-state possible), company-paid travel expenses, and comprehensive benefits after 30 days of full-time

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and be able to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to operate and load/unload a variety of Class A trucks and equipment.
• Must be able to perform job-related physical tasks and pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers on job sites.
• Load and unload trucks and handle materials per site requirements.
• Maintain daily logs and reports per company and DOT regulations.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines at all times.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating schedule.
