Job summary

Linde plc. is seeking a Truck Driver to deliver products to customers in Benicia, CA. You will make 10–12 stops daily, touch freight, complete paperwork, and provide excellent service while counting items and ensuring accuracy.

You must have a CDL with hazmat endorsement or obtain one within 60 days, be 21+, and pass DOT medical requirements. This role emphasizes safety, customer relations, and ongoing knowledge of Linde’s operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of consecutive driving experience or Truck Driving School certification with valid CDL.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past two years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
• Must pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move and lift a minimum of 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day, touching freight, completing paperwork and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives.
• Continuously build knowledge on Linde’s business operations to help the organization grow.
