Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Coordinator for its Avon, Indiana facility on 2nd shift. The role focuses on coordinating Hazmat shipments, export documentation, and carrier scheduling to ensure compliant, timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate will manage shipping records, resolve freight discrepancies, and provide excellent support to internal and external customers while maintaining Hazmat compliance.

Qualifikationen

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat certifications (DOT CFR 49, IATA, IMDG).
• Experience coordinating carrier deliveries and pickups.
• Experience managing shipping documentation accurately.
• Ability to resolve freight-related discrepancies and exceptions.

Aufgaben

• Prepare all Dangerous Goods Shipments (Hazmat) including paperwork and compliance with DOT CFR 49, IATA, and IMDG.
• Prepare export and customs paperwork such as Commercial Invoices and Shipper’s Letter of Instruction.
• Create shipping paperwork for non-default carrier arrangements.
• Perform daily carrier close-out procedures for invoicing and tracking.
• Schedule carrier deliveries and pickups, including special requests.
• Review and resolve freight bill exceptions reported by third-party auditors.
• Assist with traffic and shipping inquiries from customers.
• File and archive logistics records per policy.
