Job summary

Astrix in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to manage hands-on logistics and hazardous materials shipments at our onsite facility.

You will coordinate domestic and international shipments, prepare Dangerous Goods Declarations (DGD), and ensure DOT/IATA/49 CFR compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in regulated logistics, strong attention to detail, and collaboration with Warehouse, Shipping, and Operations teams. This is a contract-to-hire position with a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on logistics experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience preparing Dangerous Goods Declarations (DGD) and required shipping docs.
• Knowledge of hazmat classification and regulatory compliance needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound/outbound shipping at the Plano site with Warehouse/Shipping teams.
• Prepare and coordinate hazmat/radioactive shipments as applicable.
• Determine hazmat classification and complete DGD forms and docs.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers for domestic and international moves.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate shipment records across DOT/IATA/49 CFR.
