Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Material Handler / Chemical Shipping Specialist to ensure safe receipt, storage, handling, packaging and shipment of hazardous materials. You will prepare shipments, maintain inventory accuracy and adhere to DOT, IATA, IMDG and EPA regulations.

The role supports manufacturing operations with accurate records and on-time delivery while complying with safety policies. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years shipping, receiving, warehouse or material handling experience (preferred).
• Experience handling chemicals or hazardous materials preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT hazardous material shipping regulations required.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and shipping software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and chemicals.
• Store materials per procedures and safety requirements.
• Package and label shipments per DOT, IATA, IMDG rules.
• Create shipping documents including bills of lading, packing lists, export docs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct cycle counts.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, quality, and service to ensure material availability.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety procedures for hazmat.
