Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain, Inc. is seeking a hazardous materials handler in Olive Branch, MS. The role ensures safe and legal handling and shipping of HAZMAT and other regulated materials for inbound and outbound shipments, including accurate paperwork and proper storage.

Responsibilities include auditing DG packaging, training teammates, and complying with DOT/IATA/IMDG regulations. High school diploma or GED and 2+ years in logistics are required; forklift certification may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or GED and 2+ years in warehouse/logistics.
• Strong understanding of hazardous materials regulations (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Forklift Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Verify, prepare, and process required documentation for DG/HazMat shipments.
• Inspect, label, package, and segregate dangerous goods per safety standards.
• Store hazardous materials and perform routine storage inspections.
• Respond to spills or leaks and use PPE as required.
• Audit DG packaging for regulatory compliance and provide training.
