Job summary

Landstar System, Inc. is seeking a Materials Customer Support Specialist to guide Owner Operators, agents, shippers through hazmat regulations and documentation. Onsite in Jacksonville, you will review papers and coach customers to stay compliant.

The role requires strong problem solving, attention to detail, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment. Regular Monday–Friday hours and a focus on safety compliance and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of administrative customer support experience.

Responsibilities

• Review hazardous material shipping papers for required entries.
• Identify root causes of hazmat violations.
• Counsel internal/external customers to resolve non-compliance.
• Monitor and follow up for regulatory compliance.
• Assist customers with online training.
• Compose and submit challenges for incorrect roadside violations.
• Notify trainees of hazmat training due dates.
• Notate Hazmat Helpline calls and counseling.
• Other duties as assigned.
