Job summary

CF Industries seeks an Operator to carry out loading/unloading, storage, and grounds maintenance across facilities. The role requires 12-hour rotating shifts and may include evenings, nights, weekends with little notice.

On-call availability is required, and safety/training programs must be followed. The successful candidate will perform equipment maintenance, recordkeeping, and support capital/maintenance projects as needed within a hazardous environment, with opportunities to advance through

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent plus 2 years college, Military/technical training, or related work experience.
• Ability to understand and follow operating procedures.
• Refrigeration knowledge commensurate with position level.
• Good communication skills.
• Read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language.
• HAZMAT certified (post-employment requirement)

Responsibilities

• Perform product loading and unloading functions according to procedures.
• Maintain equipment, buildings and grounds per operating procedures; inspect and clean as needed.
• Understand and apply refrigeration principles; test results and monitor gauge readings.
• Maintain and update manuals and records/paperwork accurately.
• Comply with training, environmental, health and safety programs.
• Assist with training and development of other operators.
