Job summary

Southeast Freight Lines is seeking a P&D Driver to pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally, serving our customers as the face of the company. You will operate a tractor-trailer, perform inspections, and handle loading/unloading along with accurate documentation, especially for hazmat shipments.

Requirements include a CDL with HazMat, Tanker, Twin Trailers endorsements, no automatic restrictions, 21+ years old, and English literacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker and Twin Trailers endorsements, no automatic restrictions.
• At least 6 months driving experience; 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally as the face of Southeast Freight Lines.
• Operate tractor-trailer, couple/uncouple, connect lines, and adjust equipment; conduct vehicle inspections.
• Manage loading/unloading and maintain accurate transport documents, including hazmat rules.
• Report incidents or delays and comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional conduct at all times.
