Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a P&D Driver to pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally on third shift. You will operate tractor-trailers, perform pre-trip inspections, and handle loading and unloading with professionalism.

The role requires a CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker, and Twin Trailers endorsements, at least 6 months of driving experience (1 year preferred), English literacy, and strict adherence to DOT rules and safety procedures, including hours of service.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a minimum of 6 months driving experience (1 year preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CDL with Hazmat, Tanker and Twin Trailers endorsements, with no automatic restrictions.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write in English, perform simple mathematical calculations, read maps and road signs, and maintain driving logs.
• Knowledge of DOT rules, hours of service, inspections, and hazmat transport.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections.

• Ensure transport documents are accurate, including hazmat.
• Maneuver in heavy traffic and tight spaces.
