Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a P&D Driver to locally pick up, transport, and deliver freight, serving our customers on a regular basis.

As a tractor-trailer operator, you will handle coupling/uncoupling, perform vehicle inspections, manage loading and unloading, and ensure accuracy of transport documents, with attention to DOT rules.

A focus on safety and excellent customer service is required, and candidates should meet CDL/Hazmat endorsements and DOT qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months driving experience, 1 year preferred.
• CDL with Hazmat, Tanker and Twin Trailers endorsements required, no automatic restrictions.
• Must be 21+ and able to read, write, and comprehend in English.
• Knowledge of DOT rules, hours of service, inspections, and hazardous materials transport.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally as the face of Southeastern Freight Lines.
• Perform tractor-trailer operations, coupling/uncoupling, and vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload cargo; manage accurate transport documents and DOT compliance.
• Report incidents or delays; maintain safety and customer service standards.
