Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a HazMat Retail Driver to operate class B trucks in LTL waste collection from retail stores and industrial sites.

You will perform DOT pre/post inspections, ensure proper packaging and labeling, maintain logs and manifests, and deliver dependable customer service while complying with regulations. Schedule includes 3-4 overnight shifts with weekends off typically, and you will work to meet customer locations and delivery requirements while upholding

Qualifications

• A valid class B commercial driver's license with an MVR that meets Company policy standards.
• Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Understand and utilize company technology, such as mobile applications and software to track waste collection, packaging and disposal.
• Deliver a high level of customer service through clear communication and professionalism onsite.
• Maintains vehicle log.
• Maintains documentation of manifests and work orders.
• Performs DOT pre-trip and post trip inspections in accordance with company and DOT regulations.
• Understands DOT regulations as they pertain to hazardous waste collection, packaging and transportation including but not limited to accurate placarding, loading securement, HAZMAT load segregation, and labeling.
• Assists in maintaining good housekeeping at facility and on grounds.
• Functions as technician on lab pack and field service projects.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
