Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a HazMat Retail Driver to operate class B trucks for LTL waste collection from retail and industrial sites. You will verify packaging, label accuracy, and secure waste for transport while delivering strong customer service and maintaining electronic manifests and logs.

The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with potential overnight shifts; candidates must meet DOT/Hazmat requirements and perform routine safety inspections. Benefits are available with the position.

Qualifications

• A valid class B CDL with Hazmat endorsement required or able to obtain.
• Experience operating Class B trucks and handling hazardous materials preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate class B trucks in LTL capacity to pick up customer retail waste.
• Sort waste, verify packaging, labeling and marking, and secure for transport.
• Provide excellent customer service with onsite communication.
• Maintain electronic logs and manifests, and on-site work orders.
• Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections and adhere to regulations.
• Assist in lab pack and field service projects; follow company procedures.
