Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a HazMat Retail Driver in Houston, TX to operate class B trucks for LTL waste pickups at retail stores, pharmacies, and industrial sites. You will verify packaging and labeling, secure loads for transport, and maintain logs and manifests.

The role requires DOT knowledge and a valid CDL B with HazMat endorsement preferred. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional 3–4 overnight shifts based on routes, and most weekends/holidays off unless needed for

Responsibilities

• Operate class B trucks in LTL capacity to collect retail waste.
• Verify proper packaging, labeling, and securement of waste for transport.
• Provide excellent customer service with on-site communication.
• Maintain vehicle log and documentation of manifests and work orders.
• Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Understand and apply DOT regulations for hazardous waste handling and labeling.
• Assist in lab pack and field service projects as needed.
• Carry out related duties as assigned.
