Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a HazMat Retail Driver to operate Class A trucks for LTL waste pickups at retail stores, pharmacies and industrial sites. You will verify packaging, labeling, and securement, and maintain electronic manifests and logs.

The role includes on-site customer service, DOT inspections, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. Work is Monday through Friday with possible 3–4 overnight shifts; weekends/holidays are mostly off, with occasional needs for

Qualifications

• A valid Class A CDL with MVR that meets policy standards.
• HAZWOPER 40-hour training or ability to pass on hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A trucks in LTL pickup of customer waste.
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling and placarding of hazardous waste.
• Maintain electronic logs, manifests and work orders.
• Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections and comply with regulations.
• Provide strong on-site customer service and on-going communication.
