Job summary

Republic Services in Houston, TX seeks a HazMat Retail Driver to operate class B trucks in an LTL capacity, collecting and packaging hazardous waste from retail stores and industrial sites. You will verify packaging, maintain manifests, and communicate with customers while adhering to DOT regulations.

The role involves on-site visits, DOT pre/post trips, and occasional overnight shifts. A valid CDL B with HazMat endorsement is preferred, along with HazWOPER training.

Qualifications

• A valid class B commercial driver’s license with an MVR that meets Company policy standards.
• Pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class B trucks in an LTL capacity to pick up customer retail waste.
• Sort waste, verify packaging/labelling, and secure for transport.
• Maintain electronic logs, manifests and work orders.
