Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a HazMat Field Driver/Technician to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to designated sites, operating class A trucks and various trailers. You may also drive a straight truck and work Monday through Friday with occasional 3–4 overnight shifts based on routes.

Most weekends/holidays are off unless needed for critical business needs. You will handle DOT compliance, maintain logs, reports and manifests, and interact with customers to ensure satisfaction while

Qualifications

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks including roll-offs, tankers, tractor-trailers and box trucks.
• Performs LTL pickups.
• Maintains driver documents (logbook, permits, trip reports, waste manifests).
• Understands DOT regulations for hazardous waste collection, packaging and transportation.
