Republic Services is seeking a HazMat Field Driver/Technician in Portland, OR. You will operate Class A trucks, including roll-offs and tankers, to collect hazardous and non-hazardous waste, with occasional overnight shifts.

You must hold a valid CDL A with HazMat and tanker endorsements or obtain them within 90 days and pass a 40-hour HAZWOPER course. The role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat and tanker endorsements or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks including roll-offs, tankers, tractor-trailers, box trucks.
• Perform LTL pickups and routine waste collections.
• Maintain driver documents: logbook, permits, trip reports, waste manifests, etc.
