Job summary

Clean Harbors in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. The role involves driving and non-driving duties on and off site, with about 50% travel for Emergency Response projects.

Your first two weeks are in a paid training Academy. We offer competitive starting pay with raises in the first year, paid travel expenses, and per diem while traveling.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Pass background check, drug test, and physical if required.
• Meet facial hair standards per respirator policy.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety in all tasks.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform site labor to meet customer needs.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Comply with DOT, state, and federal regulations.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotation.
• Assist with site remediation and hazardous materials handling.
