Job summary

Veolia seeks a transportation and disposal specialist to provide services to clients, including sampling, manifesting, packaging, spill response, labeling, and coordinating transport. The role requires adherence to state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining professional client relations, following DOT/EPA/Veolia policies, and operating equipment safely to ensure efficient disposal of hazardous waste.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams according to policies.
• Manifesting, packaging, spill cleanup, labeling, loading and coordinating transportation.
• Maintain professional image and respond to client inquiries.
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Familiarize with DOT/EPA/Veolia-ES regulations for disposal paperwork.
• Operate and maintain equipment to ensure efficiency.
