Veolia North America, LLC in Port Washington, WI seeks a trained hazardous materials transporter with a 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and the ability to obtain a Class A or B CDL with a Haz endorsement. The role focuses on manifesting, packaging, spill response, labeling, and transportation coordination, ensuring compliance with DOT/EPA and Veolia safety standards.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required; valid driver’s license; ability to obtain Class A or B CDL with Haz endorsement.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service orientation; ability to manage multiple deadlines and use computer systems.

Responsabilidades

• Sample waste streams according to policy and procedures.
• Manifesting, packaging, spill clean-up, labeling, loading/unloading, and coordinating transportation.
• Maintain professional image with clients and respond to inquiries with solutions.
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Become familiar with DOT/EPA and company regulations for hazardous waste paperwork.
• Operate and maintain equipment to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Other duties as assigned.
