Job summary

KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Response Manager to lead hazardous waste cleanup, environmental remediation, and waste disposal projects with frequent travel across Region 2 and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The role supervises field personnel and subcontractors, supporting planning, cost estimating, safety, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include directing field teams, coordinating remediation activities, preparing safety plans, and ensuring work meets SOPs

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of hazardous waste site cleanup experience.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience on hazardous waste activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent substitution.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC, OSHA, DOT, and RCRA/CERCLA regulations.
• Current OSHA HAZWOPER and supervisor training plus refresher.
• First Aid/CPR training completed.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise foremen, operators, laborers, and subcontractors in field activities.
• Coordinate onsite cleanup, remediation, and waste disposal tasks.
• Develop work plans and detailed cost estimates for projects.
• Ensure safety plans are implemented and regulatory requirements followed.
• Communicate with clients and crews to ensure safe and efficient work.
• Track personnel time and coordinate subcontract labor and equipment.
