Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a hands-on Material Handler for evening shifts (Noon–8:40 p.m.). The role moves and processes waste containers, operates forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensures accurate paperwork and labeling.

You’ll follow procedures, maintain safety, and support daily processing objectives in a climate-controlled facility. The position requires basic reading/writing skills, experience with material handling equipment, and a willingness to perform varied tasks in a

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two to four years of pallet jack experience.
• Two to four years of forklift experience.
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Requires minimal direct supervision.
• Deliver products to the lines.
• Understand and follow procedures & processes.
• Recognize various container size & type.
• Recognize labels & markings.
• Understand and follow procedures & processes.
• Ability to utilize systems to create processing paperwork or labels.
• Load and unload various size containers (totes, drums, tankers, trailers. etc.) using mechanical or manual means.
• Transport hazardous waste materials from storage facilities within the facility as directed.
• Assist in completing all necessary paperwork for processing materials to include transportation of materials to and from various locations.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Inspection material handling equipment as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
