Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a responsible individual to perform routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks in moving solids and liquids under supervision. Duties include loading/unloading containers, decontamination, reviewing paperwork, and keeping a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications: high school diploma or GED preferred, 3–6 months hazwaste/chemical experience, forklift proficiency; 40-Hour HAZWOPER training preferred. Pay range $25–$29 per hour. Equal opportunity employer.

• Trained in the use of material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload containers (totes, drums, tankers, trailers).
• Decontaminate and dispose of empty drums and containers per guidelines.
• Assist in completing paperwork for material transportation and processing.
