Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Hazardous Waste Technician to perform routine waste tasks, load/unload containers, and operate basic tools while maintaining a clean, safe work area in Colorado. Under supervision, you will assist in decontamination, packaging, and material transport per guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and 3–6 months of hazardous waste experience, with forklift proficiency. This role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–6 months of hazardous waste or chemical industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload containers (totes, drums, tankers, trailers).
• Construct boxes/containers and labels; load containers.
• Transport hazardous waste within facility as directed.
• Decontaminate and dispose of empty drums/containers per guidelines (RCRA).
• Complete paperwork for processing materials and transportation.
