Job summary

WM is seeking an Inventory Management professional for the Industrial Waste segment in Houston. You will coordinate all onsite activities related to storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, and supervise onsite personnel while liaising with clients and vendors to resolve service issues.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operation within a mix of office and field environments.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business or related field, or in lieu of degree.
2 years of relevant work experience with High School Diploma or GED.
1 year of relevant work experience.
RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance experience.
24-hour HAZWOPER certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
Manifesting and profiling hazardous and non-hazardous waste experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate logistics for transportation of hazardous, universal and non-hazardous waste from client site.
Ensure compliance with regulations via inspections and reporting.
Assist with client and vendor invoicing, reporting and contracts.
Promote safety by training site personnel on regulations.
