Job summary

ENTACT, LLC is seeking a Light Equipment Operator to work on hazardous and non-hazardous waste sites. You will drive and operate a range of construction equipment, excavate and move earth, and assist in demolition tasks.

Frequent travel to project sites is required, with per diem and travel pay per policy, and 40-hour HAZWOPER training preferred. Must have construction driving experience with various haul trucks and allied equipment, read specs, and maintain PPE compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience operating light construction equipment, preferably in environmental remediation.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required; valid state driver's license.
• HAZWOPR 40-hour training with refresher and ability to wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate construction equipment including haul trucks, loaders, skid steers, rollers and excavators.
• Excavate, move, load out, or grade contaminated or non-contaminated earth.
• Demolish structures including buildings, aboveground tanks, pipelines, etc.
• Haul material to site, unload area, and move dirt, rocks, or equipment as needed.
• Read and understand construction specs, plans, and operating procedures.
• Coordinate machine operations with crew; act as flagger/spotter when required.
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance on equipment; refuel and grease as needed.
