Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Laboratory Coordinator to maintain and operate lab equipment, conduct sampling of onsite waste, and manage subcontracted analyses for hazardous waste determination. You will review data, clear holds, and support service delivery including lab packing and occasional field sampling.

The role emphasizes health and safety, with responsibilities spanning equipment calibration, data entry, and customer communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 1+ year experience in hazardous waste management (required)
• Or 5+ years experience in hazardous waste management with no degree (required)

Responsibilities

• Maintains and utilizes laboratory equipment.
• Samples and analyzes laboratory equipment to review waste in a TSD facility.
• Manages third-party laboratory analysis for waste profiling and hazardous waste determination.
• Performs project management functions, including hiring contractors and securing permits.
• Responds to customer inquiries regarding company and services.
• Completes lab packing and may direct Field Chemists onsite.
