Job summary

Arcwood Environmental, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform testing and analysis to support Operations and customers. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and detailed documentation of results.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field and at least 1 year of environmental/industrial lab experience, with hands-on work on instrumentation and QA/QC practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field (required).
• 1+ year of environmental/industrial laboratory experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
• Completes material analysis to determine characteristics and waste profiles of all incoming waste samples in accordance with laboratory operations and procedure manuals.
• Completes analysis of samples from plant systems to confirm conformance with proper operating limits, and residual analysis from incineration processes to determine land disposal restrictions.
• Operates and assists with the productive maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Utilizes and upholds good laboratory practices (QA/QC, safety, documentation, maintenance/minor repairs, housekeeping, professionalism).
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
