Job summary

Hepaco, A Clean Harbors Company in Ashland, KY is seeking an Environmental Field Laborer to join our safety-conscious team. The role focuses on hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials in field conditions.

The position requires physical endurance, willingness to work extended hours, and on-call availability for emergency responses. We offer comprehensive benefits after 30 days, a 401(k) with company match, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor.
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical.
• Emergency on-call availability; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Respirator facial hair standards per OSHA.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use PPE.
• Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Attend compliance and safety update meetings; observe all guidelines.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Site-remediation and handling of hazardous materials per position.
