Clean Harbors is seeking a Field Services Technician I in Decatur, IL to perform hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, and decontamination tasks in field conditions. The role emphasizes safety, proper PPE use, and operating various tools and equipment in challenging environments.

The position requires physical stamina, readiness for on-call emergency response, and adherence to environmental and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to perform physical functions per key responsibilities.
• Position includes emergency response on-call; weekends/holidays possible.
• Background check, drug test, and physical examination may be required by position.
• Must meet facial hair standards per OSHA respirator rules.

Responsabilités

• Maintain Health and Safety as the top priority by following policies and procedures.
• Perform strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and various hand tools.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear as required.
• Work outdoors in various temperatures and weather conditions; soil/chemical exposure risk.
