Job summary

Veolia seeks a Transportation and Disposal Specialist in Hillsboro, OR to perform manifesting, packaging, spill response and transport coordination for hazardous waste streams. Position requires DOT/EPA compliance and readiness to obtain a Class A/B CDL with Haz endorsements, plus 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

Ideal candidates are team players with strong communication, time management and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while following through on assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BA/BS in Chemistry or related science preferred.
• HAZWOPER certification required or able to obtain within 90 days.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain CDL with Haz endorsement.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manifesting, packaging, spill response, labeling and loading/unloading.
• Coordinate transportation and sampling/profiling of waste streams.
• Adhere to DOT/EPA and Veolia-TS regulations in paperwork and disposal.
• Operate and maintain equipment; ensure professional client interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
