Job summary

Albright College seeks a Hazardous Waste & Environmental Safety Coordinator (Part-Time) to oversee hazardous waste management and regulatory compliance across campus. The role supports safety training and coordinates with Facilities, Chemistry, Biology, and other departments to promote a safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in environmental field or related experience.
• Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations and environmental health and safety.
• Experience with training programs and safety inspections.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hazardous waste collection, storage, labeling, and disposal across the College.
• Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and local environmental regulations.
• Maintain chemical inventories, Safety Data Sheets, and records.
• Conduct inspections of storage areas and laboratories.
• Serve as liaison with vendors and regulatory agencies.
• Develop procedures for waste handling and emergency response.
