Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Dispatcher-ES to coordinate driver utilization, trucks, and equipment to optimize capacity and service. You will monitor DOT logs, collect inspections, and ensure accurate billing and recordkeeping at the facility.

Responsibilities include routing drivers, assigning loads, tracking route times, and balancing driver hours to reduce overtime. Experience in waste or environmental services plus DOT knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Experience with DOT hazardous material handling and transportation codes.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving or dispatching heavy commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Route drivers and assign loads to maximize productivity.
• Monitor route times and driver hours to minimize overtime.
• Ensure DOT logs are current before dispatch and collect inspections.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of receipts.
