Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking a Hazardous Waste Coordinator for our laboratory operations in the United States. The role involves coordinating the collection, storage, documentation, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, ensuring compliance with DOT, RCRA, EPA and local regulations.

The position requires a high school degree, ability to work in a chemical environment, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a chemical environment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lift, carry and move 25-50 lbs. regularly.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including reading, writing and speaking in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate collection, storage, documentation, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste for the laboratory.
• Serve as primary point of contact for day-to-day waste management activities.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, RCRA, EPA and state/local regulations.
• Manage waste inventories, inspections, vendor interactions, regulatory documentation and disposal projects.
• Support a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
• Perform weekly inspections of waste storage areas and document findings.
• Coordinate chemical and special waste packaging and shipments.
