Clean Harbors in Compton, CA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs. The role includes driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste clean-up, with on-site and off-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment preferred.
• Ability to use various mobile devices and communicate effectively.
• Perform physical functions per job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Load and unload trucks and perform manual tasks on site.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets per DOT requirements.
• Follow DOT, local, state and federal regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Assist with site remediation and handling of hazardous materials.
