Job summary

Clean Harbors in Compton, CA seeks a Class A CDL Driver to operate a range of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum and roll-off units. You will perform driving and on-site tasks for hazardous waste cleanup while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Must be able to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and medical examination as required.
• Adherence to OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard when respirators are used.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field labor as needed in a team environment.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks and manage loading/unloading of cargo.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Comply with DOT, state, and federal regulations and company guidelines.
• Be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Perform site remediation tasks and handle hazardous materials as required.
