Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a laboratory analyst to perform routine analyses of hazardous waste and ensure proper stabilization per QA/QC procedures. The role includes maintaining equipment, handling samples, and preparing paperwork to support safe disposal and regulatory compliance.

You will contribute to data quality and accuracy, assist with audits, and work within a team to meet safety and environmental standards at our Arkadelphia site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related discipline required.
• 1 to 3 years experience in the hazardous waste industry or related work experience preferred.
• Strong team player with customer service orientation.
• Typing speed of at least 30 wpm and good computer skills.
• 24-Hour HAZWOPER Training required.

Responsibilities

• Performs fingerprint screens and chemistry analyses to determine nature of hazardous substances.
• Samples incoming bulk loads to determine packaging and disposal.
• Assists with approval paperwork to ensure disposal accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintains analytical equipment and QA/QC documentation per regulations.
• Compiles QA/QC data and reports for review by staff; supports regulatory compliance.
