Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a range of heavy and light trucks at customer sites for hazardous waste cleanup. Training includes a paid two-week Academy, possibly out of state with expenses covered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Able to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Able to pass background check, drug test and physical.
• Per OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard, respirator users must meet facial hair standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers onsite.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks including vacuum, Cusco, guzzler and roll-off units.
• Load and unload trucks and perform manual labor as needed.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets; complete reports.
• Comply with DOT, local, state and federal regulations and safety guidelines.
• Be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
