Job summary

Clean Harbors in Mason, MI is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, with duties on and off-site related to hazardous waste clean-up. The role requires safe driving practices, loading/unloading, and compliance with DOT and company policies.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid Class A CDL and be able to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of employment is required.
• Tanker endorsement is preferred.
• Ability to use various mobile devices
• Background check, drug test and physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the priority by following all safe practices and policies.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks and perform loading/unloading tasks.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets and reports.
• Follow DOT, state and company regulations and safety guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Assist with site remediation and handling of hazardous materials as assigned.
