Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking an Environmental Driver Specialist to travel to customer sites and safely pack, transport, and dispose of waste per regulations. The role emphasizes strict safety, paperwork accuracy, and customer service while meeting DOT hours and route schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years route driving experience preferred.
• 1+ years waste industry experience preferred.
• Hazmat and/or Tanker endorsement preferred or obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Classify, segregate, and inventory waste containers for shipment.
• Load and secure materials and waste or unload truck at customer sites.
• Label, package, and transport waste per regulations and safety guidelines.
• Complete required paperwork (route sheets, manifests, BOLs) per policy.
• Pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections; maintain DOT hours of service compliance.
• Provide high level customer service and communicate issues to management.
• Assist with warehouse tasks related to receipt, shipment, and storage.
