Job summary

GFL Environmental Services seeks a driver to transport, remove, deliver, and collect hazardous wastes from customer sites. You will load/unload, operate vacuum/box trucks, and work with equipment matching your license on site as needed.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, accurate logs, manifests, and timely paperwork, with emphasis on communication and keeping work sites clean. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A with clean driving record.
• Tanker endorsement required; Hazmat endorsement strongly desired.
• Must be able to drive manual transmissions.
• Familiarity with government documents such as manifests.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport, load, and unload liquid and solid hazardous wastes.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain driver logs, bills of lading, and regulatory manifests.
• Ensure proper cargo handling and safety compliance.
• Deliver products and complete paperwork on time.
• Communicate with customers and team, keeping sites clean.
