GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a driver to transport hazardous wastes and perform loading/unloading duties across customer sites in North America.

The role requires operating a variety of trucks and equipment, including vacuum and box trucks, with strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Qualifications

• Valid CDL B with clean driving record.
• Hazmat endorsement strongly desired.
• Tanker endorsement required/desired.
• Must be able to drive manual transmissions.
• Overtime as required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, including equipment preparation and safe practices.
• Familiarity with government documents such as manifests.
• Loading and unloading of trucks.
• Perform trip inspections on equipment and loads for safety and roadworthiness.
• Comply with safety and transportation regulations including hours of service and dangerous goods.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions with guidance from crew.
• Check vehicles for mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment.
• Record and maintain driver logs and load documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
