Job summary

Clean Harbors in Boise, ID is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites. This role includes hazardous waste clean-up duties, loading/unloading, and on-site manual labor.

The position requires a valid CDL A and the ability to obtain hazmat/tanker endorsements within 90 days. We offer comprehensive health benefits after 30 days, a 401K with company match, and paid training plus tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and ability to obtain Hazmat/Tanker within 90 days.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Physical functions required by job.
• Background check, drug test, and medical exam as applicable.
• Compliance with respirator requirements per OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety in all tasks.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist crew.
• Operate Class A trucks.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform on-site manual labor as needed.
• Placard vehicles per DOT rules.
• Maintain daily logs and reports.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations.
• Drive safely in accordance with DOT rules.
• Follow EH&S and company guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be on-call for emergencies on a rotating basis.
• Handle site remediation and hazardous materials as needed.
