Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites for hazardous waste cleanup. The role includes loading/unloading, on-site labor, and strict adherence to safety and DOT requirements.

The driver will work in a team environment, with on-call rotations and opportunities for training, growth, and benefits, including health coverage and a 401(k) plan after a probationary period.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices is required.
• Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and medical clearance by position may apply.
• Respiratory protection standards per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.34 apply for positions requiring respirators.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Load and unload trucks and perform manual labor on site as needed.
• Ensure placarding meets DOT and company requirements/regulations.
• Maintain daily logs and time sheets.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations and safety guidelines.
• Be on call for emergency response as required.
