Job summary

Arcwood Environmental, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to load, unload, and process hazardous and nonhazardous waste at our permitted facility. You will operate a forklift and Bobcat, direct liquid waste, and perform spill cleanup while following all safety and regulatory standards.

We value safety, reliability, and teamwork as we protect people, communities, and the environment. A 40-hour HAZWOPER cert is preferred, with 1+ years of related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience required.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, process and store hazardous and nonhazardous waste materials at a permitted facility.
• Prioritize health and safety by following policies and maintaining safe practices.
• Operate a fork truck and Bobcat with attachments.
• Direct liquid waste through pumps to tanks for storage.
• Perform basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Review laboratory data to determine proper handling and disposal of materials.
• Use PPE and document inventory with barcode systems.
• Comply with EPA, DOT, OSHA, and permit regulations.
