Job summary

Nutrien, a leading crop inputs provider, is seeking a Material Handler (33328) to support terminal and distribution operations at our Augusta, GA facility. You will load and unload trucks and railcars, manage transfers of hazardous chemicals, and ensure product integrity through sampling and documentation.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience handling liquid and dry agricultural/industrial products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks, railcars and unload raw materials.
• Assist with unloading and loading hazardous chemicals (nitric Acid, Anhydrous Ammonia, etc.).
• Rehandle off-spec product; mix, heat, filter, and pull samples to ensure product conformity.
• Assist operations with tank alignment and transfers of hazardous chemicals following SOPs.
• Monitor products transferred to/from tanks, vessels, or pipelines at terminal site.
• Assist with terminal maintenance duties and keep equipment in operating condition.
• Input data into electronic handheld device documenting SOP, load-out activities, and tank specs.
• Track mobile movement and spot railcars and tanker trailers.
• Operate Heavy Machinery (Front End Loader & Dump Truck).
• Assist customers/producers with arising problems.
